Mackenzie's Thumbs

Well we went to Shreveport, LA on Tuesday for Kenzie's one year check up on her thumbs, She finally weighs 20 lbs and is 32 inches tall...about time I'd say only took her two years to get there. But they said her thumbs look great and that they wanted to see her in 18 months to see how her motor skills were coming along. Mostly things like writing, zipping, buttoning, dressing herself, and feeding herself. She does good at feeding herself and she can upzip and zip her sleepers, she is trying to undress herself and dress herself, but I only see distress because she just can't quite do it yet! She get's frustrated with it. She tries to tie her shoes, but you know she want get that for sometime yet. But she is doing really well, for a two year old. When she goes back she will have a full evaluation again for her hands, she will probably have an xray done of her left thumb for sure, since it is still kinda crooked. They may do another surgery on it when she is a little older to straighten it out. So we will see, how she progresses. I hope the new baby, if he has extra anything will be as easy as her's has been to fix.
The first picture is of my hands now...look close and the other one is before the surgery...look close an you can see all 12 fingers. :)
